Todd Bouman praises new D-line

While this doesn't prove our D-line has improved, it does sound encouraging. :thumbup:

A crowd of 4,251 at SLU's Strawberry Stadium watched Bouman complete seven of 13 passes for 58 yards. Those were the positives. On the negative side, he was sacked three times and one of his passes was intercepted by Jay Bellamy, who returned the ball 45 yards. The play highlighted a strong performance by the defense in the 45-play scrimmage.

"It was average, just average," Bouman said of his performance. "Our defensive line has gotten a lot better. They played well."
