The Dome crowd is an entirely different animal in night games, as well. I don't think the crowd has enough time to work up a buzz for the noon games.
I think (but I might be wrong) that all the Saints' playoff losses have been daytime/daylight games, and the wins have all been night or second-game, late afternoon 3 PM or later kickoffs. I think I looked it up one time, and that's what I found, but that might be wrong. I do know Seattle, SF, the '87 Vikings and both losses to the Bears at Soldier field were all daytime games. |
