Re: Think we'll see more Ivory under Vitt?
I really hope we start seeing Ivory running the ball. Ingram is either hurt or just no good. He's as much a liability in the passing game as any other back on the team so we need to get some punch going in the run game.

Those were Ivory's bread-and-butter plays, but until he starts blocking better and not fumbling we apparently aren't going to see much of him. Ingram is a talented runner but he only has an opportunity with one play type, and he always gains positive yards, just not very many. I want to see a screen to Ingram, or see him targeted in a check-down scenario like Pierre and Sproles. Give him some open field and a chance to make someone miss instead of running into the O-line time and time again. Although he gains 2-3 yards almost every time he touches the ball its so predictable for the defense, Ingram in, it must be a run up the gut or a play action. Every time. |
