Re: Think we'll see more Ivory under Vitt?
I really hope we start seeing Ivory running the ball. Ingram is either hurt or just no good. He's as much a liability in the passing game as any other back on the team so we need to get some punch going in the run game.

Re: Think we'll see more Ivory under Vitt?
Every one talks about Vitt, I don't think he'll disrupt the chemistry so much. He may even allow Kromer to continue as HC. Vitt will tell anyone to their face that he's NO head coach.
The person who will make the best personnel decisions, and is most important he returns, will be Mickey Loomis. |

Please don't mess with it. Please. The Defense played pretty well today.

Ingram is a talented runner but he only has an opportunity with one play type, and he always gains positive yards, just not very many. I want to see a screen to Ingram, or see him targeted in a check-down scenario like Pierre and Sproles. Give him some open field and a chance to make someone miss instead of running into the O-line time and time again. Although he gains 2-3 yards almost every time he touches the ball its so predictable for the defense, Ingram in, it must be a run up the gut or a play action. Every time. |

Ingram needs Payton to come back. With a fresh perspective Payton may use him differently.....unless of course we trade him.
