Whatever happened to the Louis Freeh Investigation?

MM, you want a rebate? You do realize there are 14 teams that have NEVER won a SB. The coaches you are chastising are the same ones that had you cheering your butt off the last three years.

Meanwhile you have teams like the Cowboys that were dormant for well over a decade. Our coaches messed up, there is no denying that, but there is also no denying they have put a good product on the field.

A product so good that even despite the long arm of Goodell they are still winning games. Two in a row as of today. If they were being destroyed every week then I see your point but that's not what is going on. They could very easily be undefeated right now. The games they have lost were on avg of less than a TD. It's still good entertainment. Ask yourself, have you got up and left or stopped watching this season because it was hopeless before the 4th quarter?

MM, I envy you because I relocated up north. I would buy your tickets from you right now if I lived there. I can also assure you there are many others that would be more than happy to relieve you of the horror you have to endure every week.

Anyway...back to the THREAD TOPIC. My question is what is Benson's intentions once the report is signed and delivered. I'm assuming it's to highlight to the owners the level of incompotence on Roger's part if it's favorable to the Saints. If not, I assume he will do nothing with it or say he called it off to save face.

If its favorable the owners are going to have to make a decision on a new commisioner in my opinion....especially if it goes public like the Penn State investigation. But we'll see. I for one don't expect it to be released until maybe after the season, and maybe even after the court proceedings.

I think I figured out who Mikemike is. Pretty sure the last name is Cerullo.

His mingling of facts and conjecture reminds me alot of the league investigations. And both are good for some comedic relief.

He's either senile , or a fan of another team trying to pretend to be a Saints fan. It would be hysterical if he indeed was Cerullo, as Lumm0x says.

The reality is, no one outside the Saints organization knows the scope of the work Freeh is doing for Benson, so whatever hypothesis or theory or assumption anyone may have about the scope of Freeh's investigation, is just that.

There's not a day goes by that they don't feel regret. Not because they are out there, or because you think they should. They look back on the way it was then:

A great organization, who supported a pay for performance system. I want to talk to them. I want to try and talk some sense to them, tell them the way things are. But I cant. Goodell has gone off the deep end and this wounded, struggling team is all that's left (they did win 2 in a row!).

They got to live with that. Rehabilitated? It's just a bull**** word. So you go on and stamp your suspensions, sonny, and stop wasting my time. Because to tell you the truth, I dont give a ****.
