Ring, not Rings. Brady has Rings. Big Ben has Rings. Brees has a Ring. He put's up awesome numbers, but he can't lead. I think the team thought he could and help fill the Payton void, but he can't.

Woah ....slow your roll. I was born near, and now again live near Boston. There's nothing you can tell me about Brady. I intentionally said RINGS, because Brees is fully capable of delivering another one or two titles with only some D support. Brees is a top 3 QB. Brees has a berth in the Hall. It's just that simple. I didnt say top 10 or even 5. Find us better. You're the GM. Find us a better QB and leader. Make a deal.

All of these guys are there with the talent. This team is not in rebuilding years.
Brees is no head coach.
Brees can lead , but he is not a head coach. Brees was coached and by the best, Sean Payton.
I did not agree with some here who said, Sean Payton, being gone, would make a big difference. Some of us believed that with players and coaching staff of talent he put in place, they could pull together.
No, they cannot.
There is no chief. No boss.
Sean Payton is the link that oiled the machine.
I wonder what he sued to say, tell them in the locker room when the Saints were down at half-time and they would come back and play some football.
You when the boss is gone and some people might just take that one extra soda break. Everybody is a bit more relaxed.
Same thing here with the Saints. The boss is not there.
But then, I have never been on a job when the boss is not there and no one works. The Saints are not working. Alos, I ahve never been on a job with people making that kind of money for doing nothing.
