This is just a roller coaster ride, the good news is it will be over soon unless you fall off. |

Re: Vitt wasn't going to be the answer
Has anybody else noticed that our LB'ers consistently suck? Now, who is our LB'er coach? Oh yeah, some guy named Joe Vitt.

Re: Vitt wasn't going to be the answer
If nothing else I was hoping it would allow Kromer to focus more on the o-line and our run game and improve blocking and protection there while allowing for a more experienced hand in clock management decisions and situational game decisions. Some may be right about taking the reigns away from the hot hand but frankly we were lucky to win versus San Diego and Tampa Bay and I don't think even a decent effort would have matched Denver on Sunday.

Re: Vitt wasn't going to be the answer
I believe both guys (Kromer and Vitt) were dealt an incredibly bad hand. Neither guy was put into a situation where they can succeed. With that said, for better or worse, I think the Saints organization fumbled this one big time. I get that Vitt is second in charge, but seriously, when Vitt got handed that 6 game suspension the reins should have been handed over to Kromer for the entire season, should have been end of story. Believe me, even when Kromer was on that 0-4 streak I felt the same as I do now.

Re: Vitt wasn't going to be the answer
Lets see how we do against the eagles before throwing Vitt under the bus. This game was in Denver against a team coming off a bye week and please look at Manning teams' results coming off a bye.................
2010 Blowout win at home against texans 2009 Blowout win in St.Louis 2008 Rusty from bursa sac removal surgery, but came back against texans on the road 2007 blowout win in Jacksonville in primetime 2006 blowout win against redskins, but let them score late to make the game closer than it was. 2005 blowout win in NEW ENGLAND Those results speak for itself. |
