I can certainly live with that percentage, and based on that alone I find it hard to support the statement that he has a problem with fumbles. |

Re: Ivory for a 7th rounder?
The backup running back averages 5.0 and he can't get in the game. You don't find that ridiculous?
Do you think I don't know how many seasons Ivory has been with the Saints or that he has been injured in both seasons? REALLY? So with the same sarcastic, caustic demeanor that you guys address Ivory I'll say that if P.T. weren't so fragile we may have won in San Francisco and may have gone to the Super Bowl. LOL And he coughed up the ball when the lights went out as well. That covers both points that you bring about Ivory... IN ONE PLAY. LOL I love P.T. and his contribution, regardless of whether he's having a good day, and I would NOT trade P.T. for Ivory under any circumstance. I'm not rooting for Ivory to take over the backfield, just get the man in the game. He deserves that for what he has done for us in the last TWO years that he has been with the Saints... injured. Re: Ivory for a 7th rounder?
Not a chance for me. We've been down the lack of RB depth road before. Unless we get some offer that actually gives us a benefit then why even bother. I wouldn't move him for less than a 5th and I don't think we'll get that.

Re: Ivory for a 7th rounder?
NONE of the rb's have performed consistently this year. Unless you count consistently mediocre, that dubious distinction certainly fits ingram. I think ivory deserves a chance. Playing him won't do anything in terms of fixing the wet paper towel that is more commonly referred to as our defense, but he just might bring a little fire and life to the running game... And that's about the best we can hope for this year anyway, seeing some good individual effort on SOMEONE'S part.

Re: Ivory for a 7th rounder?
I hope they don't trade him for a 7th rounder. I don't think it would be worth it.
I do hope they give him a chance. I think it's time to change things up. What could it hurt? Are they worried about risking that .248 winning percentage? |

Re: Ivory for a 7th rounder?
With Ivory, it really depends on what the Saints plans are for him. His contract is up after this season, but is only going to be a restricted free agent in 2013. Because of the lack of opportunity, I seriously doubt Ivory wants to remain with the Saints. If the Saints have some master plan on using him, then get him some touches and keep him around. To me, I don't see that happening, so move him if you can and get a draft pick for next year. I mean seriously, already 7 games are over and not a single touch? To me that doesn't sound like he is in the plans, just being kept as an insurance policy. Move him for a draft pick if possible is my official take.

Re: Ivory for a 7th rounder?
Well, they do have 5 RBs at the moment, so I guess they could get rid of one of them and still have good depth at the position.
