Putting the DVR to good use
I've had it with all the campaign ads, let alone all the fluffy Geico and Bud ads and the donate to the Sandy relief pleas I've seen 90,000 times. I just can't take it anymore and I'm not giving those rats another minute of my time! So I'll be offline tonight (probably shooting things on my Xbox) and DVR'ing the game tonight and then watch it real late and forward through the BS.
I encourage others to do the same if you're similarly fed up! Who Dat!!! |

Re: Putting the DVR to good use
Oh awesome! I've been replaying the original Borderlands and might play through all the DLC's for it since I haven't played those missions yet. I think Borderlands 2 will go on my Xmas list since I don't like paying $50/$60 for a game but maybe Santa can .
I love Borderlands and it's madcap world ... I don't care for the other FPS with their realism and tactics or heavy-handed story. I like my shooters with a big dose of arcade/RPG fun. |

If you also gifted a good combat-rifle with explosive rounds I wouldn't complain

Re: Putting the DVR to good use
I never watch a game real time. I record the game and watch another program I've recorded. After fast forwarding through all the commercials and ads I then roll over to the game and do the same thing. I still have my company out of the house around the same time as the original air time.
The big problem is my friends are always calling or texting me about the game. I just don't answer my phone. |
