this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Patrick Robinson's play is...disturbing. At times, he's right there. Other times, he's on Bourbon St. Not sure if he is serviceable as a starting CB....

The INT was a tip, it was not him playing the ball and snatching it before the receiver. |

Re: Defense from last night
I honestly think Loomis should think about claiming Stanford Routt...he was just dropped by the Chiefs. Routt isn't a that great of a CB but he's better than Robinson.

Re: Defense from last night
Routt is a pretty good DB tbh, he was good in oakland and got that pick of brees when we played for chiefs which happened to lead the chiefs back into the game

Re: Defense from last night
I loved that we played aggressive for once. It's what our defense has been based on for the past 5 years and that's a hard instinct for players to get away from. Bottom line for me is we are going to give up a ton of yards and big plays. We may as well do so being aggressive and attacking the QB the way we did. As we saw, it can produce impacts plays to our advantage even if we do still get gashed. Better than sitting back and getting picked apart all the same with no hope of making something happen.
I look foward to see us being even more aggressive against the Falcons. Balls to the wall in that one fellas. |

Re: Defense from last night
Almost all of those big runs came from Vick audiblies at the line he would check to a stretch run to the opposite side when we blitzed...Not making Excuses because we STILL had chances to stop some of those runs to 10 yard gains or less but credit to Shady and the other Guy
