Haz on Loomis on the Hot Seat?
In my opinion, COACHING is the only GLARING weakness on this team.
Dang right Haz is on the hot seat. Loomis? I\'m not so sure. |

Haz on Loomis on the Hot Seat?
But there are some other glaring weaknesses, IMO: 1. Linebackers 2. Cornerback In my mind, they will be weaknesses until proven otherwise. I do think there\'s a REALISTIC chance we will be greatly improved in these areas. But, really can\'t say they\'ve been fixed at this point. |

Haz on Loomis on the Hot Seat?
Maybe I was the only one who read this:
Now, it\'s no secret that I am critical of Brooks, but even I wonder if this would really happen. Anyone think that we may actually see Bouman this season? |

Haz on Loomis on the Hot Seat?
But I think AB would really have to do something (like keep fumbling the ball) for that to happen. I don\'t know if Haslett is on the hot seat or not, and neither does anyone here, but I don\'t think it\'s a far-fetched idea!! [Edited on 17/8/2004 by GumboBC] |

I may not know, but I feel pretty confident that Haslett is in a win or go home kind of situation. I\'m surprised to see that comment about Brooks. Who knows how credible it is, but it makes me raise my eyebrows slightly. I expect to see a great year from Brooks, and even with an average year Haslett\'s seemingly unbreakable allegiance to Brooks seems too strong to think a change is really possible without injury... and maybe even with injury.

I would agree that Haz has to go 10-6, win at least 1 playoff game to keep his job. If anyone replaces Brook\'s it will be JT. I can\'t remember a game that Bouman actually did anything in for us?

I\'ll believe that Haz will pull Brooks when I see it. I hope Brooks doesn\'t need a pullin\' this season. AB\'s track record would suggest that he will fix the fumbling problem this year. Every other aspect of his game was positive last year.
Bouman looked mediocre and rusty last weekend. He does have the ability to light it up, though. I remember him taking over for Cullpepper that year. Sure, he had Moss and Carter, but we have Horn and Stallworth. Bouman can get it to them if he needs to. |
