Rewatched the game vs falcons

I think the main reason Ingram is starting to look good is because he is actually being used properly. Ingram is an every down type of back, finally more opportunity for him instead of only 3rd and 1's.

The Saints defense is starting to show some good signs, can't really complain about their red zone defense right now. I was also encouraged by their run defense. Still giving up way too many overall yards, which is part of the issue with their time of possession numbers, which are still way too heavy going the other way.

On a final note, yes, Cam Jordan is developing into a very nice player.

Starting to see a pattern of 4th down STUFFS in the red zone.
Against the Bucs, Eagles and Falcons.

Another factor that goes "beyond the numbers" is were getting turnovers. Not only are we getting 1 or 2 a game but we're also DROPPING an interception or 2 a game.

No, you're absolutely correct. All this BS from Roddy's mouth about them having a chance at the end.... the problem is the Saints had ample opportunity to put that game away, as with several other games this season, and failed to do so.

ALL they have to do is in the 2nd half, run clock, keep drives moving and score some points.

Inability to put nails in the coffin has cost us BIG TIME this year - GB, KC, Carolina games come to mind immediately.

i see whats xan's saying about the second half miscues but alot of that is drops by henderson, grahm so not so so bad.
