Somewhere, in the darkness of the night, a plane moved across the sky from San Francisco to New Orleans. I can imagine Drew Brees staring into the darkness that enveloped the plane, mulling over the plays he wish he had back against the 49ers in their playoff tilt. Somehow, the Saints have seen their way through it all and finally have a chance at getting above .500. The San Francisco 49ers come into town on Sunday boasting one of the best defenses in the league. The 49ers are 2nd in the league in yards allowed per game with 277.7 yd/g, with only the Steelers ahead of them. The Niners also lead the league in points allowed per game, only giving up a paltry 13.4 per game. That’s amazing!
