We are all so used to seeing Brees play at such a high level that we sometimes forget he's a human too. Favre and Brees are two of the best QBs in history. I'd take either one. The worst I ever saw Drew play was against the Ravens about 4 years ago (Jason David era).

Re: Interception #2
Comparing Drew to Brett was never saying he was bad. Brett Farve never knew when to kill the play and play again the next down... always trying to force it and make something happen.
Is Drew Brees the best Saint to ever wear a uniform? I believe so Does he have too much on his plate at times? I believe so. Doers he not know when to kill a play and come back again(at times) I believe so |

Re: Interception #2
Is was a bad throw period. Whether or not it was catch-able is absolutely moot to me. I'm glad Colston is still walking.

Re: Interception #2
Colston is not only lucky to be walking.............he's lucky he's not crippled. He could have easily broken his neck.

Re: Interception #2
The pass wasn't that bad, it was high but Colston should have caught it. But ie had he might have been seriously hurt. But he definitely "heard footsteps".

Re: Interception #2
This hit might be legal but it shouldn't be. It's probably the single most dangerous play in football.

Re: Interception #2
A bad throw that could have been caught
A throw that Drew normally hits and Marques normally catches Either way I'm glad he's healthy for thursday night, that was a nasty fall |

I don't think there's a WR in the league that would have caught that. |

Re: Interception #2
he's made tougher catches. he short-armed it, you can tell he was looking away from the ball before it hit his hands.
Still a "buddy pass" if I've ever seen one. Maybe Drew was pissed that Colston's new contract kept him from getting 21 million a year. |
