Why is Brooks starting?!?
Ok he proved last week that he wants to be on the field. We are lucky that he got hurt again and came out when he did without it being serious. What happends if he gets hit hard? Chris Hovan wont take it easy on Brooks. Hovan- Thats like Viking for destroy! He will not think twice or feel bad about knocking out Brooks.
Jake proved last week that he can come in and lead this team to a win. Why is Brooks playing hurt and Haslett letting him? I do not want Brooks to go down and us have to go into the playoffs with JT O'Sullivan as our back up. The Vikes have a bad enough DL and LB that Deuce can run on them and the DBs are less talented than Baltimore's! So Jake can most likely come in and have a good game. I think it is stupid that Haslett is even thinking of letting Brooks play hurt with the playoffs right around the corner. If Jake is playing bad and Brooks needs to come in to spark us then do that, but dont start Brooks and him struggle or get hurt. If he struggles and we pull him he worries about losing his job to Jake who played great last week. We dont need Brooks trying to do like Warner did a few weeks back and try to play hurt so he dont lose his starting job. All Warner did was play bad enough to lose the game and hurt himself bad enough to end his season. Brooks should sit till he is 100%!!! |
