What are all these "Assuming" threads about

Ok I"m missing something obviously that has come out but I've been really busy this week to check our B&G news, much less the NFL as a whole for that matter.

For so many threads though to have "Assuming" is telling of something I've not read/heard yet in the news.

Started with "Assuming We are Eliminated," evolved into "Assuming They Take
the Trophy away," snowballed into more, and devolved into "Assuming Aunt Ruth Grows a Set of Nuts".

Its a forum joke. Probably due to the fact that our offseason started 2 weeks ago, and we're amusing ourselves.

We'll be in the Dome next sunday raising hell, either way, so dont go "Choupique"
about out fandom.

... so where do you stand on the whole Colin Kaepernick/Alex Smith situation? I don't remember seeing you weigh in on a couple of the threads that were going on about it, but I could have just missed it.

It's a controversy, but kind of a nice one to have ... go with the veteran who's got you to the playoffs already or the talented youngster with the hot hand?

NFL QB's aren't NHL goalies and I think at some point before the playoffs, you return to your veteran QB.
