I herd this morning this may pave the way for adding 2 more regular season games due to being able to eliminate players on special teams and add depth to the offense and defensive side of the ball. This is an attempt to make more revenue for the owners and NFL not player safety IMO, don't forget Roger is there to protect the owners not the players or the fans. |

And it's not the owners, it's him! It's him because he does exactly what the owners tell him to do instead of telling them what they need to hear. There are other options to create more revenue besides games. Make the bye week a fan day at the home stadiium, a pep ralley of sorts, a real event with paying customers meeting and greeting their team. Make the pro bowl a skills based event that last two days with videos of the players mixed in. Almost 0 threat of injuries, you make additional revenue, and the fans get more involved. |
