2013 Saints - Free Agency Targets

Free agent OLB Victor Butler left his Steelers visit without a contract.

The New Orleans Times-Picayune has been on top of Butler's whereabouts the last couple of days. Butler reportedly wants to join the Saints, but it's unclear if they'll bring him in for a visit.

I'd love to ask the Saints FO, off the record, if Michael Huff could be figured into the plans...

And that's thing, let he and his representation know we are interesting in having you as part of our team, not as leverage for some other place...

but there in lies the the rub. Harpers carry over and length of contract is the issue. how much money do we want to tie up at the safety position?

Huff takes Harper's salary slot would be fine with me...

Harper is going to resturcture and give us another 4.2 million in cap room to acquire Nnamdi. Huff won't be in any of the plans for sure.

if Nnamdi is signed the focus is squarely on the front 7
