Has anyone been able to get accurate available cap space figures - I'm currently at approximately two to two and a half mil avail this season...
And would total cap include/exclude rookie contracts allotment? Harper looks like he's headed for a restructure or release with 3.5 mill over two years in dead money... |

spotrac.com has Harper at 6.25mil/annum for 2013, that would mean 4.5 mil made avail this year at a min by releasing Harper... Or if we could take the entire hit this season, it still would mean 2.75mil more avail this season by releasing Harper... If restructure rumours are true, wonder why the delay in the announcement?!? |

Porter, healthy and humbled would be a good signing...
Pair that with a Huff signing and the Lewis signing, I'd say you got the makings of a hell of a secondary... |

he was able to play a solid corner at one time...he's just got to decide who he is and what he's got to do to be at his best to contribute... I'd like him back as he was a draft pick and a big part of our history - that said, he'd have to commit to a reasonable salary slot and he'd have to be reliable not only in skill set, but in health... Saints FO could examine him with their doctors and make an assessment... ...it's not like he went to play for the Falcons or 49ers and wants back in... |
