I hope he makes it on the roster. We need a good story for a change.

I really thought he had a lot of Sean Taylor like ability coming out of LSU. Unfortunate accident but I hope he comes back healthier than ever.

As far as I remember, he did the workout(s) and left shortly after without any big fanfare, so I guess he wasn't what the Saints were looking for.

A pity really, since you can't help but to root for a guy with that kind of a story.

A month or two before the workout he ran a 4.9

No word on improvements to that.

Hopefully if he can't make it back he can get a shot at baseball again.
I know nothing about the game so I don't know if that would be harder to play for him.

Or he can get a shot at using the degree I suppose he got while being a football player at a big university.

Great athlete, horrific injury. It would be an amazing story if he could recover enough to play in the pros. I am not optimistic.
