You're getting what you want so don't come crying when we don't make the playoffs next year.
I understand your frustration, but after such a lousy offseason/season, you need as much momentum going into next season as you can get, eh?

The team is going to manage a 7-9/8-8 finish without a H/C. I'm thinking Payton coming back next season is going to make a bigger difference than any playmaker they could get in the draft by tanking it the last few games in order to move up.

This team right now, as it stands, would win the NFC South and make the playoffs with Sean Payton at the helm. I wouldn't worry about having to suck for better draft choices.

I won't come crying and I have no doubt we will make the playoffs next year. Just win.

Re: Screw draft position!

How many high draft picks have the Cardinals had. Or us, during our years of suckage? How'd that work for us?

Winners win. That is all.

Re: Screw draft position!

Well, just like 'that', it's over. Time to pick up the pieces and reap the benefits of finishing 7-9, ie a higher draft pick than 8-8. Time to look ahead to the future.

I'm afraid all's Goodell has done is awaken a sleeping giant ... .
