Screw draft position!

How could anybody actually want us to lose these last few games just so we can improve our draft position? I still posts lamenting our wins moving us down in the draft. I'm enjoying this winning streak. I feel sorry for anybody who isn't giddy about whipping the Cowboys in their house while they're scrambling for a playoff spot.

Besides the draft is such pot luck process that a couple of spots up or down doesn't mean anything. Think about how many times we've traded up for that "special player". How many times has worked out well for us?

I say we go out and beat the Panthers so bad Cam Newtons head explodes in the 3rd quarter. Maybe well get to see what that kid from the commercial can do.

I am great today because we won.
It may be strange to some, and I respect that by the ways, but I have never felt great about this or that draft position.

Same here. Play to win. Draft position is not relavant during the season...ever.

Yeah play to win and be that spoiler team, how nice was it to see Jerry Jones cut short on the sidelines.

If we were in the hunt for a Deon Sanders or RG caliber player that would be the only way I'd consider it but there aren't any players like that and we would have to be in the top 5 pecking order to even have a shot. That's why I hate draft grades. You see a team get an A- when they really should have a D- for even earning a top 5 pick. And if a team is losing on purpose then one solid draft is not going to fix that situation for years.

I was one of those lamenters after the TB game.....mostly because of how we played them in contrast to how we played the last 3 games(The 2 pick 6s against SF really hurt) but after watching TB and Dallas games, I am very excited for the team we have. We get our coaching staff for the whole season and this team is in the playoffs.

I have come around, these wins have been great, especially against Dallas. Now it is time to beat Scam Puketon.
