Trade Harper, He's under contract but if you really want a safety in the first round ( there's no way we go safety in the first unless all the other defensive playmakers are gone on defense before 15 ) But if we had to go safety Eric Reid from LSU would be my choice he is a first rounder.....

The offense has to become faster and more variable. Guess this guy would rock that task and give Drew more Options, more time to pass. He got blocked too often in the past season

we have much bigger needs than a safety, O-Line and D-Line come to mind...

If we are talking safety at 15 there is only one player worth taking there that knows how to play the position

Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State

Jenkins plays closer to line as a so called SS, which is no longer a true position with all the rule changes in the NFL. he seems to play best in a 20 yard zone from the OL

Let Banks play deep zone. He plays off WR as it is.

So the saints take to the field with all CB in the secondary

It's hard to say what we need the most, but just by virtue of having Lofton in the middle, I believe linebacker is our strongest point. I'm not so sure about that. He could have led the team with picks this season. Dude is extremely athletic - he had his hands on a lot of passes this season. I have a hunch he will break out next season.

I don't believe I've ever seen someone compliment a player for something he could have done. But if you wanna look at it that way, Roman Harper has dropped about 30 interceptions in his career. 7 years in, he has not broken out. But personally, I haven't noticed where P-Rob has had that many opportunities to get an INT. He gets burned so badly, he is never close to the ball. he has a tendency to just stop in the middle of a receiver's route, and when teams throw short passes in front of him he always backs up instead of making the tackle.

I would love for you to be right about him, but based on everything he's done, I don't see a shred of evidence that he'll be any good.

We have good safeties in-house. Pass Rushing Beast Monster gets my viote.

If I read it correctly it would only save like a million if we cut Harper which sucks because I think he is the first that needs to go. Our backups played better then him. I would give them a chance next year and pass on a early safety. OT, D-line and CB are 3 needs that must be addressed first.

Molden and Jaon David. More passing yards per play against him than open space. That is pathetic.

	If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.
