I've never heard Deuce being pedistrian, but here it is:

Makes me wonder if the reporter actually watched the game. I though Deuce looked decent to above average. Looking simply at stats may make someone think otherwise.

Two games into the exhibition season, the Saints are discovering the transition from a two-back offense to a one-back attack might be more difficult than first anticipated, particularly in the ground game.

Without the aid of a lead blocker, Pro Bowl running back Deuce McAllister\'s statistics have been conspicuously pedestrian in the preseason. He\'s carried 13 times for 46 yards in two games, a 3.5-yards-per-carry average. That\'s a full yard below his three-year regular-season average.

Glad to see one of my pet peeves has been brought to the light .....
