. Anytime you change coaches and schemes you're rebuilding. Fixing this D is going to be tough. Getting the players and learning.the scheme,geling together is a tall order. The silver lining is we can be middling and with our offense stay in the hunt

I'm thinking with a competent defensive coordinator + Payton and we easily win 10+ games...

If we must, 9-7 . I am not being cynical.
SP coming back. His team has holes. New DF coach coming on board.
Saints will lose some games.
Saitns will win some games.
The lost games, ok, if there are factors such as both sides working. Good plays.
Pitiful loses are frustrating. No excuse for missing ,lets say, blocks, tackles. No man-to-man.

If we only have 9 or less wins, Goodell is going to be finning Payton $250,000 on mutiple games for the people he murders on the sidelines, like he did Ray lewis. Luckly he wont be suspended though. 😏

Payton has always down played our season, and elevated any team we are going to play next. All I know is, we are in a WAY better position than 2005, when he took over, and ended up in the NFCC that year. I like that he down plays things, and respects other teams, but very much doubt SP will ever fail as a coach.

Saints proved that pigs could fly in 2009.
Now its time for another miracle SuperBowl and go where no pig has gone before.

I dont think Spags was incompetent, I think the talent on D sucks ballz for anything to really work, its really no wonder why Gregg Williams blitzed so much.
