GATOR TAKE
Granted, but you knw as well as I do,there is some guess work to bringing it. But there are many instances when it is reasonably predictable what \"type\" of play the other team will run. Even more important what QB\'s will be more prone to mistakes when pressured.
Best example,we beat the Rams by pressuring Warner, the same way Tampa Bay beat the Rams. Other teams were afraid to presure for the reasons you mentioned above. They had more weapons than any team to burn you with.We have pressure speed. Are we open to getting burned............yes. But most of the time not. When we played the Lions, why we didn\'t pressure their young QB, beats me. Pressure Vick, only up the gut, cause he steps back and then runs, usually up the gut. Then your ends are stationary to protect the sides. Cleveland, why not more pressure? Understand? Not disagreeing, just showing you it seems to work well for us. I guess to nutshell it, we have allowed many QB\'s to pick apart our ineffective secondary, pressure causes errors. |
Don't want em to get your goat don't show em where it's hid.
