Trade down?
With facing an overhaul on defense in a deep defensivel draft, it really hurts not ha ving a #2pick trading back into the 20s and getting a2nd rd pick would be the way to go With who and for what is the question. NT and RushLB would be my targets and also see us picking a safety if the right players was available. Thoughts Opinions?

Re: Trade down?
That's what I've been thinking lately. Trading down in the 1st round and picking up a 2nd rounder almost makes too much sense. With all of the great prospects this year for 3-4 OLB's we can certainly snag one later in the 1st round. As far as a potential 2nd round pick, I'd just say best defensive player available regardless of position.

Re: Trade down?
I'm OK with a trade down if that elite guy isn't there at 15, and we have several others all rated equally.

Re: Trade down?
I've been advocating getting the impact player and standing pat...........if there isn't one there then by all means trade back.

Re: Trade down?
at this point why not. if we do i would love to see us move down in small steps more than once.
heck i would accept trading the first round pick for a second this year and first next year package those two picks for Jadeveon Clowney, DE, South Carolina? |

Re: Trade down?
I agree with Danno, it depends on who is still on the board. In any case the first two picks I'd draft front 7 guys before taking a safety.

I really don't think we have any luck with DT's in the first round. NT will probably be the same way if we draft one at 15 |
