Who would u want to see at the next SB halftime show?
 

If I were to pick a band. I'd go with skillet. They are a great band. Put on a great show. And a great group of guys and gals. I'm tired of all these "pop bands" coming out and stripping down to almost nothing. It's disgusting this is a family sport. Not a strip club. Besides she put on a horrible show and barley sang any. Just her song in the background. Pathetic and horrible.

Not sure why everyone is stating the half-time show was "bad, horrible, or not family friendly"....

For me, it's gotta be Rock N Roll. And I like reaching back a bit too, but you don't have to go all 70's. Huey Lewis & the News. Van Halen. Peral Jam. Journey with their new lead guy. I mean, sadly I think we're going to start seeing less good 'ol Rock and more teenie bobber pop, because Roger wants to appease the women and the kids.

How about Kiss? Now that'd be a damn good show. Metallica? Jeesh lots of good stuff to choose from, but I think we're a dying breed boys...

I had no problem with the halftime show. But then again I'm a 27 yr old female who pretty much spent my adolescence listening to Destiny's Child and Beyonce. LOL. To each their own I guess.

I wouldn't mind Grambling or Southern playing the halftime show that would be cool.

AC/DC would be awesome. Or Bruce Springsteen or Villie Nelson or have Garth Brooks come out of retirement and play the SB halftime would be great.

But does it have to be music? I think dancing or something can be almost more entertaining, I say they bring in the 610 Stompers next year, those guys are always a riot.

According to news sources, their will not be a SB Halftime performance up in New Jersey next year partially due to possible bad weather.

Anyone who can get on and off the field in a standard 12 minute halftime and not require that the lights be turned off and a production that overloads the electrical circuits of the stadium. Maybe if they didn't have a jiggle show, they could reduce the ticket prices to something the fans can afford without getting a second mortgage on their home. Just play the game!

You need the dramatic pop stars doin the halftime show so that the Super Bowl appeals to everyone, not just football fans watching the Super Bowl. A bunch of people turned on CBS last night to watch that ****, I don't think that would happend if it were... Skillet. #ratings/money boss!!!

I just don't believe that a halftime show makes that much of a difference. If someone isn't interested in the game, they're not going to watch it just so that they know when a 10 minute performance is going to be, and if it's just going to be some jiggle show that only appeals to men, they're an audience that's already going to be watching the game anyway. I wish the NFL would abandon the show and just play the game.

Of the 9 people I watched the super bowl with, 4 of them only tuned in for the halftime show. It's not for the people that are already watching the Super Bowl, it's for the people who could care less about to super bowl but might turn to that channel to watch the halftime show... At least that's why I think we see so many beyonce, Janet Jackson, black eyes peas halftime shows.
If the halftime show was for the dudes watching football together, there either wouldn't be one or it would be metallica every year for one song.
