Re: Two names from CBS Sports Mock
I'm not sure I get their comparison of Jordan to Chandler Jones... Maybe that's because I don't know much about Jones. But if that is truly how Jordan profiles, then I would pass. Don't remember seeing any Chandler Jones highlights recently.

Re: Two names from CBS Sports Mock
Chandler Jones, is the guy we wouldve taken had we had first round pick last year....... He is a beast for the Pats, and he's just scratching the surface.
..... If these are the 2 candidates, I'm throwin my hat in the Jordan ring. I just don't think Ansah is first round material after his Senior Bowl performances...... Not that he won't be good, I think it may take him more than a season to develop into being good. |

Too many needs at offensive tackle and on defense and little wiggle room with the salary cap; we've got to get younger and faster...
Trade back and gain either a second or third round pick... |

With that in mind, I see Ansah as being closer to a finished product than Jordan, and better size. Considering Jordan has a lot more years of playing football than Ansah does, I think Dion should be way ahead by now, but isn't. That is kind of my thinking if it came down to these two players.
It's not that I would see Jordan as a bad pick, but I think he's more of a project. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

Re: Two names from CBS Sports Mock
Jordan seems to be another tweener with health concerns. He could be a real prize later in the draft. Ansah is a good prospect, but developmental. Is that what we want from our first rounder?
Personally, I want an immediate impact player not another project! |
