I am inclined to agree. Love the man, but we are in dire straits as far as money is concerned, and a lot has to do with his current contract.

well apparently Jimmy Graham wants Quarterback money, so let him pass the ball.

The problem is not with Drew's contract.
The problem or crime is paying the worse defense in the history of the NFL almost the same as you pay one of the best offenses in history. Come up with a list of defenders that "earned" their salary and you will see the problem.

I see a lot of blame for our poor performance on Drew's contract and his play...have people forgot how bad our defence was last season? It sucks that Drew threw a couple of picks, but he shouldn't have to play lights out for us to have a chance (or throw as much as he had too, that's the result of having a piss poor defence)...it all comes back to our disgustingly poor defence.

I'm all for getting paid as much as you can but let's not forget we once had a pretty damn good QB back in the 70's but nothing else around him and we didn't do so good. I like money but I also hate to lose so I would have been looking for a happy medium if I were in Drew's shoes, but that's just me.
