Re: Mingo might be a good fit for us.
I think we need someone who is slender and has speed and good hands. Slender types should they get hurt heal a lot quicker. And no doubt it has to be someone from a SEC defense or a player that far outweighs his awful team. I think Te'o has a stand out name and if he's there saints need to get him I don't care about the whole fake gf thing or sexting a guy. Manti Te'o is a NFL name. What was Notre Dame before this guy? They had no offense whatsoever last year. His combine scores can be attributed to all the distractions.

It is highly likely that there will be a talented pass rusher at #15. All the of the players are rising and falling. And teams are sending out disinformation and starting rumors. IMHO, J.Jones, D.Jordan B Mingo, B Werner,E.Ansah. I would think that any of these player would be an upgrade.

Mingo reminds me of Renaldo Turnbull or Jevon Kearse; he'll have an impact and be gone in four years...
Picking at our current spot, I'd love to draft a player that will be there for eight-ten years... |

Re: Mingo might be a good fit for us.
Mingo would be a poor pick at 15... he may go in the first but 15 is way to early for him. He has potential, but has not put up the numbers we should be looking for (sacks).
I would rather have ANYONE that is projected to go to us in a mock draft aside from Mingo. He is the homer pick, and a poor pick at 15. |
