Drew Brees: We make too much money

An NFL contract is what the market dictates. It is also rarely paid out in its original form; restructuring, injury, getting cut, getting traded, take a cut for the team requests..... It's really not worth the paper it is written on in most cases beyond the signing bonus and first two years.

If we are that angry about how much professional athletes make then we should stop watching the games of the Leagues, stop purchasing the products of the advertisers, and stop going to the games of our teams...

I do get p/o when we blindly overpay for bums and not pay reasonably for players...

Then maybe Brees should not have held out for his contract..........or better yet just give some money back!
Take the money out of your pocket and give it to some one you want like Sean Payton did for GW.
