Re: Glad Bushrod is gone!
We use our Tackles like guards and vice versa. Bushrod was very good pulling in the run game. Strief is terrible. Of course, we pass way more than run so it wasn't a huge loss. We have tackles on the roster that can fill Bushrod's role. Maybe we'll get lucky and Jake Long will decide he wants to play with Drew too

Like I said, Drew Brees holds the ball for a LONG time every now and then. Bushrod isn't the greatest LT we've ever had, but he was definitely a good one. Then nobody is even considering the fact we played from behind a lot. We're already a predominantly passing team. Everybody knew to just pin their ears back and rush. |

Re: Glad Bushrod is gone!
I LIKE BUSHROD AT RT TOO! but Gubbs replaced Nicks better than Nicks replaced the srub he replaced in TB! Seriously Nicks only played in like 12 games all while getting almost 10mil more than Grubbs! Mickey l
and Sean are one of the best at bottom lining guys to the EXACT BARE SIDE OF THE MARKET! Thank-you Drew Brees! |

Re: Glad Bushrod is gone!
I wouldn't say I'm happy, but he got way overpaid. **** it though, the bears are never gonna be a contender with cutler, so we'll find someone who wants a ring more than a payday. IN PAYTON I TRUST!

Re: Glad Bushrod is gone!
I'm glad the Saints didn't over pay. I've read a few sites now that list the Baker signing in Atlanta as one of the worst signings this season because they just flat out paid too much money.

Re: Glad Bushrod is gone!
What was Volmer's salary in NE/how much do you figure he'd go for?
