I am worried about that damn Shaun Alexander. I hope Howard Green and Brian Young play well so they can keep the o-line off watson. I like Watson a lot I hope he performs well.

This will be such a great test for the team. Win or lose we\'ll see where they are against a potential playoff team.
Unfortunately, I\'m still expecting a loss, but also expecting some good signs that they\'re on the right track. |

coleh21, dodgelsu, or both,
IMO, the Saints don\'t have the horses. Watson will be good in the long-term, but short term he will struggle. His supporting LB\'s are not the best of the best in the NFL. I hope our CB\'s are in good shape, because they will be tested. You can bet on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

This game could easily go either way, but the Hawks have a slight edge.
This will be a shootout game. Both RB\'s will be the linchpins to their respective offenses based on the fact that both defenses have horrible run protection. McAllister and Alexander will probably both post 100+ yards rushing and at least 2 TD\'s. The passing game is still up in the air (no pun intended). Neither secondary unit is solid or trustworthy. Boo Williams will come out with a monster game only because of the Hawks\' weak LB corps. Score: Seahawks 38 Saints 35 |

Alright, I got a line from a \"friend\" that says Saints +2 , u45.5. I\'m going to jump right in with the optimists and take our boys (several Boo tds won\'t hurt my fantasy team either) and the points. The over might not be a bad bet, even though i think the secondary has a shot at being better than most think.

Here\'s a stat for you - Jim Haslett has not had a season (last 3 years at least) in which his team was not 3-5 or worse during one half of the year. Feel the sunshine boys. Feel it.

haslet just needs to find a way to keep the team UP all year. It\'s been way too easy for them to play down to their competition. Unfortunately, that was something I saw during the preseason this year. Hoping for a change in attitude... [Edited on 9/9/2004 by ScottyRo] |
