this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Sproles would not be nearly as effective on other teams. I don't see the point in moving up either, it seldom works out. I also don't see anyone wanting to trade up for our 15. I think we will work ...

Re: How about tbis trade scenario ?
Sproles would not be nearly as effective on other teams. I don't see the point in moving up either, it seldom works out. I also don't see anyone wanting to trade up for our 15. I think we will work with the picks we have and get a LT.

Re: How about tbis trade scenario ?
Sproles ain't getting any younger. I don't. really think this will happen. Im just bored and trying to get some dicussion. going. Im really just sick of the trade talk about 2nd rd picks for Ivory. My trade is a tad more interesting.

I still think RT should be more a priority. Zach Strief is garbage when it comes to pass blocking. I have a little faith in Charles Brown at LT.

Re: How about tbis trade scenario ?
Kenjon Barner in the fifth. That's our eventual replacement for Sproles. He'll turn 30 before the start of the season. It's not time to move on, but we need to make preparations.

Re: How about tbis trade scenario ?
Sproles already fits into our offensive spring that is quickly uncoiling.
We are still in championship form on that side of the ball. I like replacement part when leaks develope or when things start sputtering. Our defense is on the clock and needs to get +average really quick. After the draft things will get a lot clearer and FA probably a lot cheaper too. I would spend all of my efforts suring up the defense... If we score +20, I want to win 95% of the time, not 1/2 of the time. |
