Re: Terron Armstead
Armstead is a 3rd player that would be well worth our pick at #77. I would love to have him. Barrett Jones is another player I would love to have. I see both guys playing well on Sundays. In fact I would advocate trading up in the 3rd to get either.

An Al Davis pick. Never fall in love with combine players.

Re: Terron Armstead
[quote=TheOak;492930]"Common sense" would dictate that you read my post and its fairly clear I didn't say I wanted anyone.
I did read your post. And I did NOT say that you wanted Armstead, per se. If you would have read my wording more carefully you would have understood my point. You responded to a post about possibly trading back in the 1st round, acquiring a 2nd rounder and picking Armstead. You suggested that IF we wanted him we could simply draft him in the first. Which led me to question whether you would really draft a player who is a 2nd round project at best, in the 1st, instead of trading back. It doesn't have to be Armstead in particular. It remains to be seen if trading back is the best option (depending on who is available when we pick), and I'm not sure I would draft Armstead if we had a second rounder, but you trivialized that person's post by proposing a senseless alternative. That's about as diplomatic as I can put it. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

[quote=TheOak;493224]Because you refuse to explain yourself? Nice contribution. All sarcasm, no information. Other people are serious, whether you agree with them or not.
The least you can do is give a yes or no, and a reason why. Saying we can draft a second round guy in the first if we want him is a senseless comment. Everybody knows the team can draft whoever they want, whenever they want, if the player is available. This is not a thread about who we take in the first however. But, your lack of interest in such matters is duly noted. |
