The "Spirit" of the Team
I believe that the problem with the \"fire\" in our team is that there seems to be no true leader in the locker room. There\'s no Ray Lewis to get the team pumped up.
An energetic leader\'s passions and emotions rub off on other players. Then those players begin playing with more fire and energy. If someone makes a big stop, they go absolutely crazy. When was the last time you saw someone like that in a Saints uniform? |

The "Spirit" of the Team
Missed receptions Jimmy Smith - 8 Tony Gonzalez - 5 Meshawn Johnson - 6 Jerome Pathon - 5 The Saints Sunday tied Dallas with the most missed receptions at 17, but while Dallas has 17 it was with 50 attempts and Brooks had 37 attempts . These passes are missed by all the Saints receivers , so either none of our receivers can catch or the ball is being thrown to damn hard with not enough separation for the receiver .... |
