this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Man, let\'s put the Delhomme/Brooks debate to an end. This is so old... I can\'t even tell you. Delhomme stunk the field up last night, Brooks stinks the field up on a regular basis. Both need to get paid less ...

Why Brooks has to go...
Man, let\'s put the Delhomme/Brooks debate to an end. This is so old... I can\'t even tell you. Delhomme stunk the field up last night, Brooks stinks the field up on a regular basis. Both need to get paid less and practice more in my opinion.

Why Brooks has to go...
Brook\'s has alot of talent, but still does not understand his role with the team. A QB is supposed to be the leader of a team, not forget your plays or stand around on the sidelines when you are getting thoroughly dominated by another team, in your house, smiling like you just got paid and how am I going to spend it after the game. That\'s the attitude Brook\'s portrays to everyone, even the players. Like it\'s no big deal. I am not going to compare Delhomme to Brook\'s, but Brook\'s needs to step up and have the right attitude and lead this team or sit the pine baby, no question in my mind.

OK Saintsfan in Atl. We\'ll put together our own teams. You take the QB with the least INT\'s (Brooks - 8) and I\'ll take the QB with the most (Favre - 22).
I don\'t care what\'s on the stat sheet. The win column total is all that matters. Your quotes and point by point rebuttals may seem impressive and deliciously clever and insightful to you, but football aint a team sport like volleyball. Winning football teams have strong inspiring leaders. Ask any football player with a superbowl ring. |

Fine. I\'ll take Brooks and put him on the New England Patriots. You can have Farve on the 9ners, the Cards, or maybe San Diego. Then run a full season.
Many of the greatest QBs of all time didn\'t get the ring. They certainly could have if they were in the right situation. But it never materialized. To say to get rid of the QB who brings talent to the table without being a rah-rah guy doesn\'t compute. Quick. Name the SB winning QB who had the worst statistical season the year they won the SB? See where they stack up in the league that year in yards, TDs, INTs, and other statistical categories. Then come back and talk about heart being the only thing necessary to win the SB. SFIAH |
Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO
Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good. |

I am just curious why are you attacking the one player to play well instead attacking player(s) that didn\'t perform. These are grown men getting paid well to play a game many of us couch potatoes would love to play for money. So why should he have to light a fire up their a$$ to play. That will be the coaches duties to that & McCarthy can\'t do that up in the booth. I for one don\'t no how he plain for a piss poor offense scheme that game but I hope he do better
