The New Orleans Saints will spend at least a quarter of their time in the 2013 season preparing for read-option quarterbacks, the latest fad to hit the NFL.

The Saints will have their share of time trying to slow the likes of dynamic dual-threat quarterbacks Cam Newton, Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson.

But the read-option quarterbacks are not the only players that should have the Saints' coaching staff concerned. The Saints' 2013 schedule is loaded with Pro Bowl players and NFL stars.

Along with the dual-threat quarterbacks, the Saints also will face Pro Bowl quarterbacks Tom Brady of the Patriots and Matt Ryan of the Falcons. And they'll face standout running backs Marshawn Lynch of the Seahawks and Steven Jackson of the Falcons.

Even more daunting is the list of top-flight receivers and tight ends - the Patriots' Rob Gronkowski, the Bears' Brandon Marshall, the Cardinals' Larry Fitzgerald, the Cowboys' Dez Bryant, the Buccaneers' Vincent Jackson, the Panthers' Steve Smith and the Falcons' duo of Roddy White and Julio Jones.

The offensive coaches have just as much to worry about, as there are several defensive play-makers on the 2013 schedule.
