He was signed as a crucial player in Gregg Williams' defense. He's not nearly as bad as many think. He plays Strong Safety. He covers like a Strong Safety. He's not a CB or a FS or a LB. He has hands of stone, which may be insulting to some stones. He fits best with a team that uses a traditional SS/FS set-up. He plays great within 15 yards from the LOS, as do most SS's. If we cut him he'd be unemployed less than 2 weeks. At his salary he's probably not gonna draw much trade interest. He blows very few plays every year, but when he does its ugly. |
