New Orleans Saints pick Oklahoma receiver Kenny Stills in the fifth round

Scouting reports are guesses at best. Some are just talent assessments. Wonder what the "scounting reports" were for:

Art Monk
Joe Montana
Jerry Rice
Brett Favre
Jimmy Graham

And oh so many more....

Most of those guys above were considered renegade pickups by teams, some unproven, others were considered to be nothing more than 3rd stringers, backups and drop outs... and everyone on that list will be a Hall of Famer.

How many "top prospects" picked in the top 5 of the draft end up being forgotten team camp bodies? I'd say the answer is MOST of them!

Graham is a very raw tight end that left the basketball team to turn out for football in time for the 2009 season. He is extremely athletic and has a huge upside but still needs a ton of technique work from running routes to blocking. Weaknesses
Graham lacks game experience with only one year of football under his belt. At this time, work ethic as a pure football player needs to improve. His toughness is in question as he still carries the basketball player label. Blocking tenacity and overall technique need polish and refinement.

Yep, that's pretty much Jimmy. I've found scouting reports to be inaccurate when talking about players with the greatest intangibles, like QBs, but spot on with specific skill players, like most WRs and most defensive players in general.
