Re: More on Chase Thomas
he's already better than shanle . i think he makes this team easy, his hustle will put him in the right place more then anything else going bad for him.

Re: More on Chase Thomas
He dropped because in the year 2013, now, NFL scouts still haven't figured out the difference between workout speed, and game speed.
They also haven't figured out that speed is only part of being a good player. Anyone remember a kid named Sedrick Hodge? Yeah, he was a LB from UNC who ran a 4.49. So the Saints drafted him... and he stunk. Production is what should matter, and to not draft this guy at all was pathetic on the part of all teams. I'm just glad we lucked out and got him as an UDFA. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

Reddick is a better "athlete" in terms of measurables, and I think he will make it as a backup in the middle. Chase Thomas doesn't have anything much in the measurables department; but he just makes plays. I would be surprised if he didn't at least make the PS; he might make the 53 as an outside backer. |

Re: More on Chase Thomas
I see the makings of a very important POLL here: "How many times will Chase Thomas be called Chase Daniel?" "Will there be any negative effect?" "Will he be forced to wear #10 ala LB Brad Van Pelt?
I think the success of the upcoming season depends on the outcome of this poll!!!! I heard the NFL Network was going to do one of those rookie shows with this theme!! ![]() ![]() |
