I remember Thunder and Lightening. Too bad we can't find a FB with Galbreath's moves and speed. The NFL doesn't use the split backfield like they did under Stram back in those days. You really didn't know where Archie was going with the ball in 77 and 78. Our offense was as explosive and todays offense has ever been. Oh yea... the defense was crap too.

He was a New Orleans Saint and because of that, I wish his soul and his family peace...
And not to taint nor tarnish a passed soul, but his passing at only 60 should be a lesson in the consequences of poor choices using narcotics... And more importantly, he redeemed himself in working with young people to steer them from the dark path he'd been down... He cost himself and his fans a terrific career, and now his family has lost him at a young age... God Bless Him and Keep Him...And Thank You for those Rare, Great Moments during the Dark Ages of the Franchise... |
