Re: Khiry Robinson, RB

We always carry 4 RBs; Sproles, Ingram, Thomas, Robinson... Depth and at 6'1 220, he has the size to run like Ivory. Let's just hope he's a little more durable

Re: Khiry Robinson, RB

Robinson seems pretty good at breaking tackles and he also has a decent 2nd gear.........he's not fast or quick but he gets movin' in a hurry. He has good balance and power and could be a good player.

I like that he's a return man. The more the merrier.

We could use the competition at the 4th RB spot.........our backs are getting older and we need to be working on their replacements. Cadet looked good last year, but he seemed to hit a wall at mid season and wasn't as productive in the last half of the year. He did take some unnecessary risks in kick offs that only got us to the twenty yard line.

Same here.

That footage sure showed some tough, initiated contact for his dimunitive stature...

But this is the NFL (Not For Long), and I wonder if he will be as an effective runner or if he will need to alter his style...

If he likes to hit that much, we could always move him to Strong Safety as he was a two-way player in JUCO Ball...

At Washington State University, Chris Ivory played 3 seasons, had 91 rushes for 534 yards and 4 TDs. At Tifton, he had 39 rushes for 223 yards in five games before suffering a season-ending knee injury.

In his senior year alone at West Texas A&M, Khiry Robinson ran for 1654 yards on 247 carries (6.6 ypc) in 13 games.

I'd say his durability isn't in question.

Does sound durable. He looks like a RT clone to me.

Sounds like he could battle Cadet for a spot on ST.

I think Cadet will see the field as a runner too this year.

I hope Khiry can become a special teams ace for us. He has decent speed, toughness and has played both O and D.
