Really, there isn't a set starter. It's all based on the game plan used against our opponent for that particular day. You really can't say which is the better RB because so far they have been used differently and defenses know that. PT is the most complete because he is great in the screen game and defenses have to respect that and then that's when he busts one up the middle. Sproles is also great coming out of the backfield on the quick toss or short passes. Right now the problem with the way we have been using Ingram is that we try to run him between the tackles 90% of the time and defenses know that. Until we mix it up a bit with Ingram with some toss sweeps or screen passes to keep defenses off balance, they will continue to crowd the middle and he will not be as effective as Sproles and PT but he is far from garbage as a RB.

They're all starters. They just don't necessarily begin the game on the first play. Running back by committee. Fresh legs in the 4th...

I hope they're all still starting in the post season. Big, big ifs here -if we do make it all the way, we're gonna need a strong running game to compete in roger's Ice Box Bowl.

The identification of starters and non starts in this offense is blurred because mos everything is done by commitee. I dont think there is much stock in the term starter here. Payton has made it clear that Ingram is going to have every chance in the world to get his carries. No matter what Payton says hes gonna feed the ball to whos producing. My advice would be to NOT Draft any player on this team not named Brees or maybe Graham. We just spread the ball around too much.

If New Orleans plays New England in New York, then New Orleans will most definitely need the running game going, and going well...

Ingram really has a lot to prove granite this is his "year" r not if he doesn't do anything this year gotta get rid of him....
