Use to have a lot of respect for John Fox...
But after watching his game management these past few seasons, giving Baltimore that gift with the greatest quarterback on the planet playing for you... I'm convinced he's in the same subset as Jim Mora and Jim Haslett and will never advance again in the playoffs unless he hands over responsibilities... |

I disagree with a lot of you...
I think it is very important who they start at RB. It says what they are doing. PT or Sproles starting means a more EXPLOSIVE offense. They are going all out. Ingram isn't explosive. He slows things down with his style. He is a short yardage back and that is it. |

Re: Is Pierre starting this year?
i say we get rid of fair weather fans and send them to Atlanta where they'll fit right in.
if you've never qualified for the NFL you are NOT qualified to say if players should be on a team. when a coach says that, well... it is reality. when a fan says it... it is just whining. got it. |

Re: Is Pierre starting this year?
PT is the best, most complete RB on the roster. Ive been preaching this from the beginning. He has always been a professional and has simply out performed everyone...even a number one draft pick who was supposed to run away with the starting RB position. The man was undrafted and has worked his way to a solid NFL player in a RB by committee system. PT plays with passion and heart. Not to mention he's pretty damn reliable.
So IMO, he should be the starter. |

Re: Is Pierre starting this year?
Hell, put all four of them out on the field at the same time. There was way too much potential left on the benches the past three years, especially 2012. We all know what and we all know why. I'd like to bring up two points:
One, there's no way the team can get rid of every player that's not up to your expectations. It's a money thing. Two, we really don't know what anyone four years and newer has to actually bring to the field. |

Re: Is Pierre starting this year?
I disagree the starter usually gets more touches...
they been trying to force feed us Ingram the past two years. This also makes a lot of sense when you get 2nd or 3rd and short you bring in Ingram to carry it or decoy for a pass. PT and Sproles opens the offense up more... make the downs shorter for more first downs. |

Re: Is Pierre starting this year?
For the last 2 seasons the difference between touches for PT and Ingram is less than 3 touches per game.
In 2010 Ivory had 137 and PT had 83, I do not recall Ivory being called our starter for any season. In 2009 Mike Bell had 172 touches and PT had 147.. You calling Bell the starter for the season? The "starter" on another team consistently get the bulk of the touches. Once again, the Saints do not play that way. We have no clear starter. This is why we never have RBs in the top 20 for any seasons. Even in 2011 when we were 6th in the league in rushing.... That year Ivory skyrocketed all the way up to 24th. |
