Before something like this would get under my skin, now I really don't care what anyone in print, radio or tv has to say about the Saints or any players for that matter including Brees. After last offseason, the media can kiss it and once again Jaws is trying to hitch his wagon to the next best thing. I'm actually surprised he didn't go 4. Brees, 3. Brady, 2. Manning, 1. Rodgers like I'm sure 99.99999 % of the hacks would do

Thats all this is... its a QB power ranking and if you look at last year, its hard to argue that Ryan over Brees is somehow outrageous.

I disagree with Jaws on this one, but its not like he's putting Mark Sanchez ahead of Brees.

QB Rating - Ryan 5th, Brees 8th
Comp % - Ryan 1st, Brees 10th
Yards/Att - Brees 6th, Ryan 7th
TD's - Brees 1st, Ryan 5th
Interceptions - Brees 1st (19 picks), Ryan 12th (14)

Its nothing to get all worked up about at all. Next year Brees will likely be back in the top 3 and Ryan outside the top 5.

Are you serious? No way Mickey out ranks Little Debbie! Mickey'll do fine on a watch or tee shirt, but the way Little Debbie fits into the tummy? She's way up there. On a hungry off season day, she'll even top ol' Drew!

Jaws is just mad that Trent Dilfer and Tim Hasselbeck get more screen time than him. I wouldn't put a lot of stock in the opinion of a former QB with a career QB rating of 72.8 and nearly a one to one ratio of TDs to INTs. The best thing Jaws ever did was turn the Eagles starting QB job over to Randall Cunningham and keep Dan Marino hydrated.

Well...yes as Payton is a coach and Jaws isn't. Though if Jaws would have said that Brees was the best quarterback he had ever seen in his life we would all be praising Jaws as the best and most observant analyst ever. However I do agree that if you are going on last year (oh God, I never thought I would say this) he has a point. As much as I recognise the rivalry between us and them, I do think that saying Matt Ryan isn't a good quarterback is totally wrong and we have to give credit where credit is due.
P.s. I did find that hard to get out but there it is.
