No one is pretending anything. Bushrod was an average LT. Its not a stretch to think a gifted athlete may actually start at LT sometime during the season and perhaps become at least average.

Loomis' job is too make sure assets don't leave because of cap issues; so either Bushrod wasn't worth the money or Loomis failed by allowing the Saints to be in a disadvantage in retaining the departed's services...

With the contracts to Ryan and Julio coming up now, Falcons fans are gonna get to share in the same cap purgatory, yet worse, have the second best quarterback in the division - how's that working out for you?

Armstead's measurements charted new benchmarks, but we'll temper our expectations and be pleasantly surprised...

...good thing you won't have to wait long to see how good the Left Tackle position for the Saints is gonna play out...
