Almost overnight, the Saints' receiving corps has gone from a strength to a question mark because of injuries.

Jerome Pathon injured a hamstring at practice Wednesday and joined veteran Joe Horn on the sideline for the majority of the team's two-hour workout.

Already missing was reserve Talman Gardner, who suffered a high right ankle sprain at St. Louis on Sunday. He is expected to miss two to four weeks.

The attrition was so bad Wednesday, seldom-used rookie Devery Henderson and practice-squad player Nathan Black worked with the first-team offense in order to complete practice.

Does that mean Nathan Black could be activated for sunday?

( I thought Black looked fairly good in pre-season )
