ARE THESE SAINTS DIFFERENT THEN PAST FEW YEARS

I truly think this weekend's game is a VERY important game. Sure all games are important in the NFL, but our Saints didn't seem to play like that the past few years.

I want to see a team that comes out hungry and wanting to rip apart an opponent that looks like an injured animal. I don't want to hear cockiness from Joe Horn, Grant or anyone else. An injured animal is probably the most dangerous type. (look at our history against 'gimme' teams)

I want to see a team that respects their opponents enough to come out fighting hard. A coaching staff that comes out with a plan, not assuming our talent will get us through a 'gimme' game.

I'll take a tough loss if we have to, as long as i see fire and a team sticking together. A team that is not going to ***** about fans booing, a team that will give its fans reasons to cheer and holler.

I want to hear fans rave when we win with heart. Not complain about one play because they didn't think there was enough hustle on one play. Give me a break!! And give your Saints a break.

Saints fans are HARDCORE. Who else will stay through much more thin than thick?? Who would be fanatic enough to discuss a team that at times looked like it could get beat by college teams?

We have a right to be hard and cynical. I am more pissed off at our front office and public relations guys who (like some politicians) blow smoke up our ass telling us how everything is fine, and give us an image of reality that is unreal.

If we as fans were told the truth, we might not have had expectations like we do. But hey, truth doesn't sell seats if the reality isn't too shiny.

I'd rather have a coach like Haz who changes his mind every few games, trying to find the right style, than a Mike Martz who is certain of what he wants to do, no matter what everyone else says, but is wrong.

If Martz would have put his pride aside and ran the ball more against our run defense they could have beaten us.

sorry for the rant
